I'm so far behind on my blog that I decided not to catch up (at least for now). We had a great Halloween. The kids got too much candy but they were happy with the idea of donating a lot of it.
P.S. We named the puppy Cosmo. He's doing great. It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun. He did not like his costume it stayed on for about 2 seconds.
Halloween was crazy hair day at school so the boys were Jedi's with crazy hair. They loved it.
The puppy has arrived. He is adorable and a lot of fun. He has a great personality...a perfect mix of playful and cuddly. The kids are having fun with him and he is really good with the kids. He's not doing so great at housebreaking, but it's only been three days. People told me it was a lot of work and I still think I underestimated it. We went to the vet today and she said the puppy looks great. He is just under 10 pounds right now. It's a fun size and I'm sure it won't last long. If only we had a name.

The brood is growing. The good news is this time there will be no baby weight involved. We are getting a dog. He is a goldendoodle and should be about 30 pounds when full grown. He arrives this Friday. We need help with a name. Any ideas? We would love any name suggestions and puppy training advice. I'll update the blog with pictures from our marathon vacation soon. We are still getting unpacked!
Today was Ellie's birthday! We had a great time. For the first time ever she got to have her party on her actual birthday. We had a sprinkler party in the backyard. It was 95 degrees and humid so it was very good the kids were wet. It was a lot of fun. After her party she got to open presents and we went to Rain Forest Cafe for dinner. As you can imagine the kids were exhausted tonight. I can't believe how grown up Ellie is. It's so fun to see her grow up and learn new things. We love her.
We had a great time in North Carolina over the Forth of July. The kids loved being with their cousins. The drive was a little long, but we survived. Thank goodness for a car with a TV.
We are finally done with school and all activities. It was a fun but very busy spring for us. Zack had a great time playing baseball and soccer and Ellie loved softball and soccer. Carter and Audrey were great spectators and with games almost every night I had a good excuse to never make a good dinner. It was great, but now it's very nice to not have schedules and enjoy summer.
It's been so long I can't even try to catch up. Sorry. Audrey has turned into a pill. She's fun and cute but she is a pill. She is into everything and the more you try to stop her the more serious she gets about it. For example if she is squeezing a bottle of lotion and she sees us coming to stop her she squeezes harder and harder. I spend my day closing drawers and moving things out of her reach. It's fun. I'm sure this stage will pass soon...I've been telling myself that for a quite a while.
